The grates on the cook top are have so many large openings that small cooking vessels tip over. The smaller, most used cooking surfaces are at the rear of the cook top and it is necessary to reach over the stove to stir contents.
We bought this stove 6 years ago when we renovated our kitchen, it's a beautiful looking stove! However, we've had numerous problems with it. It oven stopped working within the first year (I cook everyday). We replaced every related part (electronic panel, cover, thermostat) and the stove continues to shut off mid-bake. It's extremely frustrating given the cost of this product.
If you can't get anything bigger than a 30 inch and want quality and a professional looking stove with power, this is for you. It has the look and feel and quality of the higher-end stoves/ovens. The only down fall I have noticed is that the burners are very hard to clean. I've tried a handful of cleaners and the only thing that works (which sounds strange and still does not completely get everything off) is Goo-Gone. Other than that, it's worth every penny!
Purchased 3 months ago. I cook all of our meals from scratch and love how many things I can do at once w the double oven feature. We also try to limit microwave use and use the second oven to warm up food daily. Only issue I have is with the griddle burner. Because I don't use nonstick coated cookware, I purchased a cast iron griddle for the center burner instead. The griddle burner is too small to heat up the entire griddle. Therefore, I use tue griddle on the left two burners instead. This renders the griddle burner in the center as useless to me. I wish it was just a plain round burner instead.
