We needed to replace a 20 year old range, wanted to move to gas after having electric for so long, and have found this model to be just perfect for our needs. The dual oven, the wide stove top with center burner, the sleek look. Easy to use, too.

After cooking with electric for 20+ years I went back to gas with my kitchen remodel, and I just love this range. The "power boil" feature is amazing and the center burner with griddle is a bonus. Probably the biggest bonus is the electric bottom drawer oven.

I bought this item thinking it had a lot of nice features such as the fifth burner and extra oven. However, I have found that the touch pad is so sensitive that just brushing by it can accidently turn it off thereby not cooking the food in the oven. I have also found that the burners do not adjust properly. I also found that the stainless steel top becomes easily marred by food that might spill on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This has great style and great features! The control knobs run very smoothly and quietly. It has the look of a semi-professional range. The power burner does bring water to a boil much faster than the one on my last stove. I love having a large 5th burner in the center that can also be a griddle.

Great value over Viking and Wolf

We moved into a house with an electric range, though there was gas in the wall. I will only cook on gas, so this was a no-brainer. We were looking at a display model Viking, but I asked the sales guy how it compared to something like the GE Cafe, which is sort of the benchmark for all online reviews. It was several hundred dollars below the display model Viking and he told me the GE was so much better; bigger oven, more burners, the hi-lo burner is amazing, and the warming drawer is totally useful and not just a gimmick.

Appliance works well. Have found when using the cook top, you turn the knob to the appropriate heat etc.. there is a "red" circle or indicator on the knob that does not move, it stays stationary. So, at a glance, I will forget that the unit is on, because I will glance over and see all the red circles aligned. Would have been great if the "red" circle would turn as you turn the heat on and therefore adds as an additional indicator that the stove is on. Have found on low simmering heat, I will forget that it is on because at a glance, the cook top knobs all have the "red" circle facing up. Design flaw.
