A Great Range

We have had this range about a month. I love the baking drawer. Cooking for just me and my wife, I often cook with leftovers part of the plan. I've been setting the leftovers in the baking drawer, setting it to 250 degrees, and putting the food on the table from 45 to 60 minutes later. The leftovers taste the same and with almost no work or heat in the house. My wife has used the convection oven to bake brownies and cookies. They were the best. We had considered other double ovens but when we looked at them found them cheap looking. They all had their big oven just off the floor. It just makes sense to have the small oven as a bottom drawer. The food cooked in it are small and easy to get out. I can easily bend over to get out a couple of baked potatoes. A big turkey not so much.

We've have this range for about 2 months now and absolutely love it. It replaced an electric stove with cast iron burners. On installation we had to have a connection replaced, it was stripped at the factory. We could not use the broiler for about 2 weeks. Other then the installation issue, I love cooking on the stove. The Power Boil/Simmer burners are great. It boils water fast and the tri-ring burner provides a wide range of precise temperature control down to a very low simmer. My only issue has been that it's so low I sometimes forget to turn it off. The convection oven is great. Haven't used the second oven/warming drawer at this time. Love the grill for the center burner. So far we've done hot dogs, grilled cheese, pancakes and french toast on it. The stainless steel top is easy to clean with soap and water and a terry cloth towel to dry. It scratches easily, we got a few marks on it moving the grates. The oven heats up the back of the stove so you need to be careful what you leave there when you are baking.

the 4 burners and the middle long burner for the griddle are awesome. There are a variety of settings to cook your dishes perfectly. The front right power burner boils water in no time. The oven is very large. I can fit two casseroles. The bottom oven is great for baking. I feel like a gourmet cook.
