Just installed the café gas range. Cooking on it is a dream. Boiling water, frying chicken, or simmering a delicate sauce, no problem with the Café range. Dinners ready, got to go.

Fan is very loud

Stove looks good. Works well. But the fan noise is too loud. We have a small open concept house and the fan comes on anytime the oven reaches 350 degrees. It is very loud and annoying. Buy another stove if you have a small open concept home.

power burner does not light consistantly

Convection oven great for baking. Like having a second oven available. Power burner has not worked consistently since purchase. Often will not light unless turn another burner on first. Even that does not work sometimes-especially if range has not been used several days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I researched all kinds of 30" gas ranges and this turns out to be the best within the pricepoint after speaking to a lot of sales people. I like the design of the product a lot. It is very user friendly, intuitive and simple expressing a real sense of high quality - no short cuts here obviously.

Overwhelming Gas Smell

At first glance, this looks like a great range. It came with our new home and we were very excited about it. However, we noticed a faint gas smell. We had several technicians look for a leak but none was found. Only after doing our own research did we discover that there is a design flaw with this model and there are MULTIPLE complaints over the past year about this particular model emitting a moderate to strong gas smell!
For the price and the company, we would have expected MUCH better. Now we're stuck with a 1.5 year old stove that is UNSAFE. That this model has not been recalled is BEYOND me.
