Control pad frustrating me

Purchased this range when remodeled my kitchen 6 months ago. I like the sleek lines, the capacity of oven, and top burners very adequate. Major objection is the sensitivity of the control pad. Several times while baking/roasting, I have leaned against the control area and cleared the settings of the oven! Also, for my personal use, the lower oven is not worth the extra cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Both looks and power

I bought this for my husband who is a professional chef and had very strict guidelines for what he wanted in a range. The power burners were the highest btu’s I could find in this price point and having two of them sealed the deal. We are excited about the warming drawer / bottom oven but have yet to try it.

Best. Stove. Ever.

We've had this range for 3 months now and we love it. We've had meals with all 5 burners on and both ovens in use. It cooks wonderfully and is easy to use. Only complaint is that the ovens do smoke a LOT the first time you use them, so be ready with a fan!!!

Good times coming to my kitchen

It's too soon to know how this will work out. It was just installed; I haven't even turned it on yet until I can print out a manual. But I did a LOT of research before buying - this oven looks great, love the features. It was important to me to have a proper baking drawer (450 degrees) at the bottom, and oven large enough for huge dinners (think 26 lb. turkey). Looking forward to trying convection, too. It looks well made and seems user-friendly. I think I'm going to be one happy cook.

Very dissapointed in product

Leaning over to clean the top of the range I have both
1. unknowingly pushed the burner knob enough to leak gas but not turn on the burner which was notices only a couple of hours after and thankfully did not blow the house up but had to open all the windows to air it out
2. lightly brushed the oven electronic control panic and turned the oven off therefore loosing the time and temperature setting unknowingly and find out 1 hour later into the dinner preparation that nothing was cooking.
Bottom of main oven is left stained after self cleaning
Oven knob snap off and need replacement after 1 year light usage.
Range top extremely easy to scratch no matter how careful
After owning Thermador products for over 30 years should have remained faithful to the brand as GE has been a terrible disappointment
