Overall good appliance

Yes, I love it. There are two minor "flaws"--The griddle does not work well as it is too close to burner. The stainless finish on the stove knobs peels of during cleaning to reveal unsightly white plastic. Finally, large burners should be in back, not front to more effectually use exhaust feature. I have the Cafe microwave, range and dishwasher and love them all.

Beautiful, Appliance

Had this range installed in my new kitchen almost one month ago. It looks great, the issues I had are: specs are not true to actual measurements of the appliance. Had to have my counter contractor return to widen the opening so the stove could slide in. Secondly, the rear of the stove has screws that stick out, just enough so it is not a flush fit. Need to have a trim kit....which GE does NOT provide or tell you about. So, now, I have this visible gap, where stuff can fall in to. I tried to explain this and they kept saying, "the manual states measurements are..." Yes, I know. They didn't own the appliance or have it in front of them, so how could they insist the measurements were exact, or correct? Very frustrating trying to reason with them.
Functionality...nice, efficient - except for the "warming" drawer. They stated you can bake in it, up to a certain temp. I found it best if used only as a "warming" drawer, otherwise you are baking blindly. It takes a long time to heat up, and unless you're watching, you never know when the required temp is reached.
Stainless...the beautiful top surfaces scratches very, very, easily. The cast iron burners are heavy and snug, any wiggle results in deep scratches.
I tried contacting GE, as they suggested. but only received automated "someone will get back to you" emails.

Nice Range!

We purchased this range to replace our electric one that quit and very happy that we did buy this one. My wife was prone to buying gas range since electric range boils liquids faster, however the power boil on this range does the magic, she loves it! Oven bakes evenly and true to temperature. Even though it is a freestanding range, once installed it looks like a slide in range, very stylish! We are very happy with this purchase.

Style & Solid Construction

All the features we were looking for. We made the value decision to spend extra for quality, features, looks and reliability. Couldn't be happier. As an architect I appreciate the heavier gauge construction, sturdiness of the handles, grates, hinges, main oven door and lower oven pull-out glides. Controls are all forward and smartly laid out. Oven has heat dispersion vents at back. Just all around smart. As a cook, I love the 5 gas burners, maximized burner area, extra BTU's, and the fast-heat lower electric oven. The lower section is brilliant - use it for warming drawer, crisp or finishing, pizzas, baking, casseroles, desserts. This is one of those investments you're happy you made...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Decent Range, but with some hesitation

Bought this range over a year an half, and overall I'm pleased with the performance. My main purpose was to get the high power burner. However, I have some reservations regarding to GE quality. The stove top black rubber stoppers have all melted, and the power burner assembly warped. This just indicates how little thought was put into designing this range. The power burner should last the lifetime of the range, but since it's made of aluminium and not ceramic it can't really handle the 20,000 BTU. Using the black rubber stoppers was also a poor decision, it's pretty obvious this is at a high heat area and plastics shouldn't be used there. This is a $3000 range and it shouldn't have these these design problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this stove

The burner line up is fabulous, I use all of them. The oven is just the right size. I store the grill in the drawer and use it to cook on, when I use the lower oven
