Hard to clean

It's abeautiful stove but even if water spills it leaves a stain. If anyone asks if I like my new stove, I tell them I hate it!!!

I Like My New Range

I've had this range for a little over two months and am very happy with my
purchase. The oven temperature was spot on out of the box; no adjustmentswere needed. And the power burners blast a flame that sounds like a jet
engine. (an overstatement meaning you can have boiling water in little
time.). I am a little disapointed with the middle burner. I tried to sear a pot
roast in a Dutch oven using the burner and found that there wasn't enough
heat. The middle burner does work well with the griddle, which I use
frequently. Also the broiler is just ok. Over all the stove top and the two
ovens work well. For the money, I don't believe you will find a better range.

Trouble with oven.

Oven kept going off when I turned timer off but wasn't finished baking. Also, convection doesn't bake any better than regular baking. Doesn't bake evenly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my stove two months now and just love it. Doesn't heat up the whole house like my old stove did. Looks beautiful and cooks evenly.

Not Quite Perfect – But Darn Close

As a serious amateur chef, I do a lot of cooking and baking. So I am fussy about the features and performance of my kitchen appliances. When my previous range became unfixable, I knew that the one I would choose to replace it had to have certain features. It also had to be highly rated and be able to perform to my exacting standards.
The GE Cafe Series gas range I bought met almost all my needs and unlike the other ranges I saw with two ovens, the larger one is on the top – which makes sense, especially when roasting larger items like turkey or rib roast. The two power burners are a godsend, especially the quick boil one. And the ovens keep a consistent temperature, ideal for baking.
So, performance-wise, I would rate this a 5-star appliance. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that there are two small issues I have with the range. The first is that this appliance (in fact the whole line) is only available in stainless steel, which is harder to keep looking clean. The second is a what I consider to be a design flaw in that the instrument panel on the front of stove can be initiated if I reach to the back of the appliance either during cooking or cleaning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Gas stove and range love it

We have had it for 4 months. I bought it after about a month of research and comparison with other similar priced stoves. Just wasn't anything close to it in my opinion.
