Love my Cafe Series range, I entertain a lot and the fact that I can set my oven to let me know when my pork loin, turkey or lamb has reached it's optimal inner temperature via the temperature prove makes cooking an ease! The different BTU's makes it super easy to control the temperature for a desired dish and yes I can melt chocolate on the stove top! No need for a Bain Marie!

Overall OK but some issues

Got this range in Dec. Overall I like it but it is impossible to get it level. One problem is warped grates which GE gladly replaced at no charge; unfortunately, the new grates
they sent are also warped. Plan to call service rep out again to help us level it. Also,
the left front burner, although it has a flame range from low to 1 through 6 to high to
power boil, the flame really goes from very high to very low with nothing in between.
Similar situation with the right front burner. Hoping service rep can adjust that too.

Beware of the griddle

I thought this griddle was cast iron with a non stick coating...wrong it is aluminum or something and you should NEVER use anything metal or it scratches EASILY. I have a brand new oven that i just scratched with a spatula. Not a strong coating and they should be stressing this. I am angry!! I just would have liked to be told this prior to damaging my range permanently! Love this rest of it though...

The best range ever! Oven cooks food evenly. The gas range options are fabulous. Couldn't be happier with our purchase. Only thing I would like to have seen on this is a back lite control panel - hard to see when the lights are dim in the kitchen
