Great stove!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love almost everything about it... especially the convection feature and pro stainless steel style. It cooks foods evenly in the oven. The exhaust comes on automatically which is also a nice feature. One downside is the middle griddle burner on top which does not get the griddle super hot, but does work ok for pancakes and french toast. Otherwise, great purchase and very satisfied with GE's customer service!

Great Range with Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: A great range. 2 hi BTU burners, that can bring a large pot to boil in just a couple minutes. The highest BTU burner also works great in a simmer setting which gives a flexibility in use of the range. The simmer burner that keeps an even flame. Excellent convection performance for the oven cooking a 20lb turkey evenly and easily.
Continuous grates make good use of range. Other plus over ranges like Bertazzoni that do not allow for self cleaning.

Cons: Broiler is uneven and browning takes time. Stainless steel takes time to clean and takes greater care. Warming drawer can dent easily.

Great stove but for noisy fan

Only complaint is the fan that kicks in when the oven is on, is noisy and annoying, and continues to run for a LONG time after you''ve turned the oven off. A review I read before I bought it said "don't underestimate the annoyance of the fan" - and the review was absolute right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The touch pad IS very sensitive.. every time I lean over the stove I hear beeping (and no, I am not very wide but I am short, hence the leaning). The fan is a tad noisy but not enough to complain about. I wish the range were a few inches less deep.
Being summer in the South, I have not used the oven as much as I will in a few months but I have had issues with setting the oven temp, leaning against the stove slightly to stir a back burner pot and by doing so, turning off the oven!
I think this range will work for me now that I know its quirks and what to watch for but I wouldn't really recommend it to a friend until I have used it longer.

Great Appliance But Needed More Electricity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a large family, so I was thrilled to find a stove/oven that would fit into my kitchen which included a real cooking drawer. It works great. We had only one slight problem. I discovered that when I used all the features at once AND my microwave (right above it), I flipped the breaker every time. We had to have a dedicated circuit wired in to accommodate the extra power needed. Having done that, I'm a happy cook!

Be aware of the fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Burners are great, especially the power boil. The stainless scratches very easily. The oven fan is very annoying. It comes on when the oven is preheating and remains on until the oven has been turned off and cools down. Do not underestimate how unpleasant this is, especially if the oven is on for an extended amount of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had it for about 6 months, like the looks of it, 5 burners on 30" is a plus. Haven't used the griddle yet. Arrangement of the small burners in the back & large in front can be a little cumbersome when there are times when you just want the big pot/pan on the back and use the front for something smaller or faster cooking at the same time. When reaching the back or when cleaning the rear part of the cooking surface, I end up leaning against the controls for the oven. Design flaw that is probably easy to remedy in the future. Everything is touch screen. Cause for concern with small children around. They like to touch things. (Future - safety issue). Seems to take a bit longer to cook some of the items, but I think I just have to get use to it. Had a separate gas cooktop & electric built-in oven before. Also because I haven't made an appliance purchase in 20 years, the fan noise to keep the controls safe is very loud, although getting used to it. Like to power boil feature but if used with a smallish pot, the handles get very hot to touch. Been using my old potholders a lot more.
