Love the stove but am disappointed that it scratches soooo easily on the top. Have heard this complaint from others about this product . Would not recommend this model if there are young children in the house. Burners are accessible.
After stripping it from the box and reading the instruction manual I got right to converting it from Natural Gas (the default) to LP. Its a bit of work but very doable for a mechanically inclined person. In all it took about 2-3 hrs at a leisurely pace. The directions were specific enough that there were no issues. The fine lettering on the replacement gas orifices were a bit small for these old eyes but the color coding was accurate and easier to identify the correct replacement orifice for each one I removed. The most difficult were those inside the oven. It said to remove the oven door but there were no directions provided on how to do so... but I did not have to remove it to complete the installation. Care must be taken to not cross thread the orifices when putting them back on. I was replacing an old gas range so I did not have to do any gas installation work other than to disconnect the old and hookup the new. I ran both ovens at 450 for an hr just to bake out any smells before I use it. All burners/ovens work as described. I plan to write a more comprehensive review after several months of usage.
We bought this as an upgrade from an old electric as part of a major kitchen remodel. The five burners give flexibility when cooking. Water boils very quickly. Soups and sauces can be turned down to a simmer without the risk of burning the bottom of the pots. The oven turns on and preheats very quickly. Accurate temperature control. Easy cleanup and an overall great looking appliance.
