Heat control

The heat control is on the handle where I hold to iron. Without realizing it, my hand keeps slipping up on the heat control while I am ironing and cuts the heat off. I'm ironing away and all of a sudden realize my iron is cold. Very aggravating!

Garbage iron. Period!

I've purchased 3 shark irons. Kept giving them a chance. I take pride in my clothes so an iron is very important to me. I take good care of my iron.
This one doesnt last a year without the cord fraying and developing a short. I even brought the shark iron with the retractable cord and it STILL caught a short in it.
U call shark, they want you to pay for shipping and handling!! Uhhh NO!! U need to give me my money back. Your irons are trash!! Never again!

works poorly

I bought this iron about 9 months ago and while I'm ironing the green light starts blinking. I stop ironing for awhile and it comes back on. Also after unplugging and refilling the reservoir and it is standing upright it starts steaming. I need to put it in an ironing postion then stand it upright to make it stop steaming.

Temperature control non-functional

This iron is less than a year old, and the Temp selector quit working. Then it selected its own temp settings, cycling up and down the chart as the iron is moved. This makes this nearly-new iron useless for anything but quilting cottons. Deeply unhappy with another product made in China.

Works great when it works - really great! However, I iron between 10 and 12 shirts and pants a week so I consider myself to be a moderate user. I've bought 3 of these irons over the past couple of years and each one developed the exact same issue with the steam select/plunger button. After about 4 or 5 months of use the steam plunger button located on top of the grip starts binding up and sticking to the frame inside making it no longer usable or able to eject a burst of steam... Seems crazy I would buy the same product 3 times but I've now learned my lesson. Like I said, you cant beat it when its working but this is an iron to avoid. Shark must know theres an issue with this iron

I like that this is an iron and steamer in one! It beats up quick and does a great job. For the price, you can’t beat it for a two in one job
