Simple and great results

My last 5 cameras were from another well known company. I needed a new camera & tried a new model on sale, not expensive. I was very disappointed with it & returned it. I decided to try the Samsung smart camera since I was very satisfied with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 & needed something compatible for a lots of pictures. What a nice surprise. Beyond my expectations.
I think from now on, my loyalty will switch to Samsung for few other products like TV etc....
Quality is there.

Great Point N Shoot, Great Zoom, Fast & Simple Operation

I like the size and lack of bulkiness even though it packs a nice F2.8 to 5.9 23mm lens. The picture quality is as good if not better than my old travel camera the12mp Lumix FZ-35 and the WB350F has an even more powerful 21X Zoom. Wifi connection to a phone or tablet works well for transfers. I was hung up wanting a pivot LCD for selfies but found the remote viewfinder with remote shutter release was all I needed and I like the simplicity and durability of the fixed LCD of this camera. Especially when slipping in and out of pockets or bags. It has a Wifi baby monitor too. It was challenge connecting to my laptop, so many times I would just email pics from the camera if needed. Low light performance is not to bad for a sensor of this size. Just be prepared to choose well lit areas or turn on more lights when taking indoor photos without a flash. If you still need more light, the popup flash is of the bendy bouncy variety and peppy, so you can reduce or increase flash output by 2 stops in camera and bouncing to soften/fill works very effectively.
The special effects that this camera has are interesting and fun and I am glad there are full manual control available. Auto works well, however I find myself in Program mode which allows use of digital zoom in addition to optical, giving upto 42x Intelli Zoom. Its hard to hold these shots steady so the Image Stabilization helps considerably. Sharpest shots with be at less than full zoom usually and this can be expected from optics in general.
Video is just fine for me and you can zoom smoothly during recording. On board stereo mics quietly record satisfactory audio, but there are no audio jacks for input or output.
I like the colors this camera generates and rarely adjust color saturation as is also available.
Battery life seems to be pretty good and I like just carrying a USB to Micro USB A/V and not keeping up with a specific charger. The Micro SD card this camera uses is of no concern to me as I find myself Direct Linking to an iPad 2, iPad Mini 2, iPad Air 2 or my trusty MotoG Android.

Lastly, the touch screen is a treat and the touch focus and touch shutter are handier than I thought they would be. I doubt I'll ever go back to a non-touch screen camera.

Disappointed!!!

Got this camera as a gift and was very excited, but soon became disappointed. The auto-focus will focus, but when I take the photo, it turns out blurry. The round button with "ok" in the center is too small and hard to use if you want to turn the flash on and off frequently. It seems the battery dies quickly as well. I've had the camera for not even 6 weeks and only used it a handful of times and already the button with "ok" in the center isn't working all the time and when I hit the "play" button to look at photos, the screen goes black and the camera seems to turn off or freeze. Also, when I delete photos, they just keep re-appearing the next time I use the camera! I had 30 days to return the camera, so of course it seemed to work fine til about day 35. Not sure what the warranty is, but I'm sure it's a hassle and the extra warranty wasn't purchased...do they make sure to give defective items to those who don't purchase the extra warranty?!?!!! I was going to use the camera to take photos of my children and items I sell, but it looks like this thing was a total waste!

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not working correctly after 5 weeks, photos turn out blurry, navigation button too small
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great in all terrain

We often use our camera outdoors in all kinds of weather and all kinds of terrain. We photograph volunteers working at various locations and found that the pictures are clear even when we may be on shaky ground or moving. We plan to buy another one!

I am in the body shop restoration business. I have found that this product is wonderful and a pleasure to use, it takes perfect pictures. The zoom is awesome. I have recommended this product to all my family , friends and business associates, and several have already purchased. Thanks Samsung for making such a great product at a reasonable price.
