Good Balance of Design and Features

Purchased this camera as a graduation present for my daughter who was looking for better pictures than were able to be captured on her Samsung phone. The device is the perfect mix of size/design, and features. She can get amazing functionality from a device which has a fairly small form factor. The zoom is the most responsive of many cameras that I tested out before making this selection. I wasn't looking for a device which was wi-fi enabled and haven't used it extensively but having that ability to connect either direct to the linked mobile device or to a hot-spot (where accessible), this feature is also nice.
With large hands, I sometimes find myself accidentally touching the menu on the screen but that's a minor issue. For my daughter, this is less of an issue. there's so many features here that I haven't even tested out yet, but the pictures speak for themselves. Good color saturation.
I am still getting used to the need to pop up the flash for those shots that need it but that is a minor issue.
The build quality of the unit is good and the available apps for mobile/tablet integration also work well and add some nice functionality for remote shooting.
Overall, very happy with the purchase and my daughter loves the camera. It's a good stepping stone for her to learn image composition before stepping up to a full DSLR camera.

I am not real tech savvy but found this very easy to understand and use. Plus it takes great pictures! Just what I was looking for!

Easy to setup and use

Had the camera out of the box 5 minutes and I was taking pictures and video. WI-FI feature is what caught my eye since I am really into new technology. This is a point and shoot camera with a few extras that really make it a great value.

I have found it easy to use with many features. Love being able to transfer pictures to my phone or computer with WiFi and NFC.

Love This Camera

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed w/this camera. I wanted the quality of DSLR w/the ease of point & shoot, and I wanted the ability for WiFi connectivity and SNS. This camera is all of those things.
I gave it only 4-stars for design because I fear the flash may not hold up to use. I feel the design could have been a bit more sturdy.

I am not a camera tech geek, but this camera allows even the novice to achieve great results with special effects. It is easy to learn the settings and the touch screen menu is great.

A Surprising Little Camera

I have had several digital cameras from other manufacturers, and this one is, by far, the best camera I have ever used. It is not only a handy size and weight, but its functioning rivals, and in many ways, surpasses my digital SLR. The most astounding feature of the camera is the zoom. It has a 21x optical zoom, which is great for a camera of this size, but then it goes up to 42x digital zoom. With other cameras I have used, I have had difficulties keeping the camera stable enough to use digital zoom without a tripod; but I have taken some outstanding pictures with this camera, zoomed all the way out to 42x, without using the tripod. Adding the tripod just makes it so much better. I love this camera. My husband is tired of hauling his digital SLR around, and is thinking of getting one, too. I would recommend this camera to anyone.
