fantastic photo quality

Just returned from a hiking trip along the Amalfi Coast in Italy and didn't want to take my big SLR with separated lenses in my backpack. I was concerned about whether the photos would be of the same high quality. When I uploaded them to my computer on my return home, I was pleasantly surprised at the color and clarity! I think they may even be better than my SLR! I wish Samsung had a video tutorial or DVD since the camera did not come with operating instructions:/ I bought the camera for wi-fi capability which is great but am still getting used to how to use it-
I AM SORRY ABOUT THE ALL CAPS BUT I HAVE SEVERE ARTHRITIS IN MY HANDS THAT MAKE USING THE SHIFT KEYS VERY PAINFUL - I PROMISE I AM NOT SHOUTING AT ANYONE -
1. MODE SELECTOR SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE BACK - NOT ON THE TOP NEXT TO THE SHUTTER BUTTON - YOU CAN MOVE THE MODE DIAL VERY EASILY WHEN TAKING PICTURES - I PLAN TO TAPE IT DOWN WITH REMOVABLE TAPE TO DEAL WITH THIS - IT WILL LOOK GOOFY BUT IT'S BETTER THAN BEING IN THE WRONG MODE
2. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING BATTERY SINCE IT IS NOT LIKE MOST OTHER CAMERAS - YOU CAN ACCIDENTALLY POP OUT THE MEMORY CARD - I LOST A WHOLE WEEK OF PICTURES BECAUSE OF THE MEMORY CARD POPPED OUT AND I DID NOT REALIZE IT UNTIL TOO LATE AND IT WAS LOST
3. LIKE MOST CAMERAS, YOU CANNOT SEE THE SCREEN WHEN TAKING PICTURES ON SUNNY DAYS
I LIKE THE 21X ZOOM AND THE 16 MP AND THE CAMERA IS LIGHT IN WEIGHT
Pros: Lightweight, 21x zoom is great, 16 mp is great
Cons: Did not meet expectations, mode selector dial is in wrong place, cannon see display screenon sunny days
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had many small cameras in my life but this one is the easiest to use. Easy to handle, easy to understand but, most of all, the pictures are clear and beautiful, just the way I was looking forward to. AND, I mostly keep it on Auto. Soon I'm taking a vacation into the mountains of Utah. This will really put this beautiful camera to the extreme test.
Is this normal? When you gently shake the camera body, I can hear a something rattling inside. Should I be worried and return it or is this normal? I've never had any camera rattle or make noise from the inside.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, grip is not comfortable
I would recommend this to a friend!

The camera is very user friendly and produces great photos. I especially like being able to send photos to my phone.
I bought this as a gift for my wife and it has been great. They amount of optical zoom, coupled with built in wifi and the ease of use made this bad boy a great tool for her. It uses a micro sd card and best of all you can just upload your photos straight from the camera itself, no need for a bulky laptop or computer. So if you're on the fence and want something inexpensive and with features packed inside a small easy to use device then this is your camera.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Samsung Link
on March 31, 2014

In reading about the features of this camera I was pleased to see that you could use Samsung Link to view pictures on a Samsung Smart TV. This is not the case. You can only view them on your TV once you have transferred the pictures to your phone or tablet. Samsung needs to correct the information about this camera. The other feature that we were looking forward to was using your phone as a remote view finder. That feature does work and will be handy instead of using the timer to take pictures.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!
