My new favorite toy

This is not just a great camera, it is a great fit with my lifestyle. The color and clarity of the photos are wonderful. The smart apps make it very easy to share photos. And everything is so easy. After referring to the quick start manual to confirm where everything is, the rest was totally intuitive. A friend recommended the camera to me and I would do the same.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Transferring video's to my Mac

I bought my Galaxy 200 in December. I love the clarity of the pictures...I thought I was buying a point and shoot....but you pretty much have to change the "mode" a lot. If I knew how to transfer my video's to my Mac book pro....I would be a happy camper. I have literally tried everything. I have been online chatting with Samsung..but to no avail....if anybody know's how....sure would appreciate a message.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, cannot transfer my video's to my macbook pro.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

galaxy 2 easy

good looking , compact enough to take every where. I am not great with a camera, but I get great results with this baby. It is simple to use. Pictures are sharp. haven't tried all the modes as of yet, the ones I have tried did all I expected. then the bonus of all the other apps. comes into play. Its really a great camera with a tablet attached. get one you won't be disappointed.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, simple to use

My first experience with an android camera.

The photos taken by this camera appear to be excellent. The 21X zoom lense is a great feature. I am a little concerned about the ruggedness of the pop up flash, but I think it should be ok if I am careful with it. I would rather use a standard size memory card, but the little micro SD card seems to be working good. The battery seems to charge quickly, but since it is a new camera, I need to have a little more time with it before I make a judgement. on how long the battery will last after a full charge. I am new to android, but like having access to my email with the camera and being able to email a photo directly from the camera. I especially like the fact that this camera has no phone associated with it, therefore no monthly payment. The primary use of the Galaxy camera is to use it as a camera and not something I would always want with me for phone use.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, 21x lense
Cons: pop up flash seems flimsy
I would recommend this to a friend!

Messy hybrid gadget

The main feature of this device suppose to be Android operating system but it is also the biggest shortcoming. A camera with the same photo quality and some built-for-camera operating system costs a third of this price and it doesn't ask you to update app, doesn't nags with with a year old hangouts messages and has a lot of features when it comes to photography.
Image compression is awful - it's not obvious on a small screen but once you zoom in or look at a big screen it looks terrible and there's no way to adjust the level of compression.
Internet connection sharing over bluetooth form iOS device is not working and the only way is Wifi sharing which literally takes 10 times more energy.
Display is very bright - actually too bright and when you adjust the settings on Snapseed app it looks to dark on the other devices!
Dynamic range is very low - even with photo modes like "Rich tone" which is 3 images bracketing HDR composition. Third party app "HDR pro" which works great on iOS on android misses the main features, gets in the way with built in camera interface and freezes the whole system which requires a hard reset.
And there is a lot of small messy android related details that interact with camera features and make the whole user experience disappointing.

The only reason I'm still using it is a 21x zoom in your pocket which is great when traveling and you don't feel like taking a dSLR out of the bag and the subject is too far for an iPhone!

Cons: Did not meet expectations, image compression, low dynamic range, bad autofocus, too bright screen, no bluetooth tethering with ios device, bad user interface, android gets in the way of camera features

Nice camera but not value for money.

Previously owned the Galaxy 1 Camera and don't believe that there is enough difference to justify the price difference. Also have an issue where my Google Account keeps disappearing and to date Samsung have been unable to rectify the problem.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
