We were in bad need of a new microwave last Fall and I decided to spend a little more money to buy one I knew would be the best and would have a long life. I had shopped around and found I could buy the Cuisinart stainless steel one at the same price locally as online and they had one in stock! I brought it home that day and took our old one over as a donation on Electronics Recycling day. We had a brief learning curve but the instructions were very helpful and we have been enjoying it since then. My only question is, why didn’t I buy one sooner?!?

It’s pretty. It’s functional. It does everything I need to have a microwave do but it is very loud. I tried to get my husband to let me take it back but he said it was fine. He is hard of hearing, however.

My wife and I researched quite a few brands before purchasing the Cuisinart CMW100. For the price it was the best rated and had all the features that we were looking for. The stainless steel enclosure was an added plus. We wanted something that was easy to clean and this one is. We previously had a little no name brand that we had purchased to 'get by' when we moved to our new house. It lasted ok but was always a mess cleaning and it was also quite small. This unit fits on the counter, the door is easy to open and it operates exactly as advertised. We were a little worried that it may be noisy, as that is what some of the reviews had stated, but have found it to be a non-issue. We are very happy with this product.

Bought this to replace same modle that I love ! Big mistake !!! Had to exchange it 2 times already .., not an easy piece yo lug back and forth .., hope the next one is better , or I’ll have to throw my arms in the sir ,and go for something else ... wish me luck

Very disappointed. Let me begin by saying Cuisinart has always been my first choice in almost everything for my kitchen. My over-20-years-old Panasonic died peacefully and I replaced it with this one. The Panasonic was1300 watts but I was told by a salesman that this 1000 watts one would be as efficient because the smaller size oven space would make up for that. Wrong. Takes 2-3 times as long. There are things I'd wanted to warm for less than 30 seconds and searched thru the manual without finding an answer. Took me a very long time but I finally figured it out. The automatic buttons like Frozen Vegetables or Baked Potatoes or Bacon have never cooked long enough, even though they were small amounts. I am 81-years-old and don't hear as well as I used to, so you can believe me when I say this: It is shockingly LOUD. I think you would surmise that I would not recommend this to a friend. Were I physically able to, I would've packed it up and sent it back. In reading this back, I should've given it fewer stars! My bad!

My only concern is sometimes the clock display gets full of steam when reheating something for multiple minutes. It later clears, so I hope that's okay and not going to pose an issue in the future.
