This purchase was to replace a cheap, rusted, no power, GE microwave, and I spent time shopping. The only negative I have so far is that when the door is opened, it slides. And the only way to open it is pulling the door handle. There must be a solution, just haven't found it yet. It's powerful and from reheating coffee to thawing, baking potatoes, heating frozen peas, etc., I like it very much. It's very roomy inside. I really paid attention to measurements because our space is limited, and I wouldn't want it any bigger. The stainless steel interior is worth the money. It's easy to clean and looks great! Very happy with this purchase. I didn't realize how many Cuisinart appliances I have, but several now.

I replaced a Whirlpool microwave that was over 20 years old, still worked great, but bought this one to go with the toaster oven I purchased recently. The only feature I do not like is the beeper when done, five beeps is annoying, one or two is sufficient.

I purchased same model several years ago. When my mom needed an easy to use, versital replacement, we purchased this one for her. We expect it to last for many years of daily use. And, the one improvement, the numbers and letters are now easier to read. The earlier model had black on gray lettering.
