brita system is good "BUT"

we lived in an apt for a while and had to depend on filtered water ,so ofcourse brita was our 1st choice.the filter worked fine,the replacement filter on the other hand, would not show the green light and had to be given back and the 2nd one i bought did not work as well ,so unfortunately i had to change to pur, but i still prefer brits to put.
Pros: Moving

Love having fresh, clean, great tasting water every time I turn my faucet on! My coffee and everything I cook tastes better! I'm saving so much money and helping Mother Earth too! I definitely am drinking a lot more water.

Love it, but...

This is my second faucet mount in two years time. I love this when it works properly, and for me that means having the LED reminder light work for more than a year. Sure when it stops working I can mark my calendar to determine when to replace the filter, but what happens if my use is excessive within that period of time? I have no way of knowing this for sure and end up not reaping the benefits of the filtration system. This second system was a replacement that you provided when I complained about his problem with my first system. At that time you assured me that this was the lastest model and that the LED problem had been addressed. Obviously given the number of complaints about this issue, it has not been resolved. I do not want expect another replacement unless there has been a redesign that addresses this issue. Those of us who consider ourselves loyal Brita customers deserve nothing less.

Great replacement filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chrome filter matches my faucet perfectly! It is easy to use, just push the button on the faucet mount and the old filter pops off and then you just replace the new one. It is so easy to use! Our filters usually last longer than the recommended usage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wish more people would convert to this method of great tasting water as opposed to plastic bottles.

Not so happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit a little less than a month ago. This morning I we t to use it and water started to spray everywhere. The filter case has a huge crack all the way around the bottom like it's trying to desperate. Lucky I had another filter to replace quickly. Now I'm a little hesitant about this unit.
