I have had this for several years. I like everything about it, mostly that it is still working. This is the third microwave in 9 years. The others were not LG and just quit after about 2 years. It is same size on outside as others, but the inside is very large. It does all types of things as well. Melt chocolate and butter for one. You will enjoy this product

Good features when working! BEWARE!!!!

Bought in October 2011 and had to have computer board replaced one month later. That lasted about 6 months and had to have the computer board replaced again. First time was because there was no beeps to let you know when it was done or when pushing the keypads. The 2nd time was because it was not sensing moisture and all of the special functions would not work. When warranty runs out I will buy another brand if it breaks again. I don't recommend buying this microwave.

Audible alarm not very loud

I have had this product for two months now, and I don't know how many times I have burnt something on the stove because I couldn't hear the timer alert. There is only two settings on or off. No volume control. When food is finished the alert only alerts for about 10 seconds and shuts off; so if you are doing something else your food gets cold.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Turkey!!!

I have only been using this unit for 2 months and it died!! Very disappointed. I furnished my new kitchen with all LG appliances based on my LG washer that I've had for over 2 years with no problems. I should have paid attention to all the bad reviews I read. Now I have to enter the 3 ring circus that is called "service". Good luck to me.

Nosiy and missing key features

This unit does a very good job of cooking food as it should. Other than that, it falls short. While cooking it is extremely noisy with all sorts of internal vibrations. There is no "timer" function - something so basic, I never even thought to look for it as a feature on a microwave. I would not buy this again.
