Great Features

Love the extenda vent and the warming feature. Bought a couple of chickens from Costco and left them in there warming for over an hour. Did not dry out the chicken. great feature. tried the popcorn setting and cooked it perfectly.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

I am very pleased. It has a built in proofing setting for dough which is just great. It does what a microwave is supposed to do and it does it well.

Ideal Heating

I haven't had a bad frozen meal yet (yes, dieting!) that wasn't perfectly heated through, and still moist. My wife actually prefers the ambiance of the microwave's under mount lighting over our high-end under counter lighting.

Best value microwave

I waited a few months after installation to write this review. Product performs above expectations. Defrost works very well (does not cook meat). Other features spot on perfect. Best is the slide-in-out extended vent feature. I bought a high end cook stove, but was warned the high heat might damage most microwaves installed above it. This feature only found in LG solves the problem. This microwave also resists finger prints and looks like a mate to my high end stove. I would buy another LG appliance after owning this microwave.

3rd Times A Charm

We purchased this microwave to replace an older microwave, so size was important. The first unit we received had a faulty sliding exhaust fan (it would pop open when ever we opened the door, or sometimes just on it's own). That unit was replaced with one that apparently had a bent motor shaft. We were told that was fixable but they would have to dismantle the entire unit, so we opted to just have that replaced as well. As stated above, the 3rd times the charm. We've had no issues with this unit at all and love the sleek style and power that is has. I also love the slide out exhaust fan. It gets to my front burners much better. We are quite happy now.

Built better than I thought

I bought this microwave twice. My grandson was using the microwave as a timer for the oven when it's timer failed. He was operating the microwave with nothing in it for several weeks before it finally failed as well. Most microwaves would have failed much sooner operating with nothing in it. The controls and features are great and it has good looks. A bit pricey but it seems well worth every penny.

Almost great features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really a nice microwave. Some nice features but the one miss is a single button push for cooking at 1 to 6 minutes. You can have quick start but it is a two button operation. The roll out vent hood is a great touch to eliminate steaming up front of unit.

I love my Microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this product for almost a year. The extenda-vent feature is great, picking up much more of the steam and fumes from cooking when I use the front burners - which I generally do.
As a microwave it works very well. In fact, it works well enough that I have never given it much thought, which says a lot. With the controls along the bottom it is harder to see the food as it is cooking which is the only thing I have needed to adapt to.
I like the easy on-off of the exhaust fan and not having to cycle through all the speeds every time I use it... and I do use it! I am much more likely to turn it on than when I had the type that made me cycle through to get the speed I wanted.
Cleaning the vent screens is slightly more trouble so I have purchased second set so I can exchange them and wash and let dry since they take a bit of time to dry thoroughly.
All in all, I would definitely purchase this one again!
