I held out until now before acquiring my first smartphone. I am familiar with features and capabilities related by friends concerning their phones. The Exhilarate can perform the same functions as their phones plus more. The Android operating system is very easy to learn. The pre-loaded apps are a good selection. This phone provides all the functions I need in an easily managed size. This phone will fulfill all the requirements of most users.
I am super happy with my Exhilarate. The transition from my Palm Pre has been painless. This phone loads webpages quickly, and figuring out how to use features has been really easy. I think it is a great value, and a better phone than the I phone I had through work. I do wish it were a tad smaller, but I do have tiny hands.

Excellent phone with alot of bang for the buck. Has many of the same features as the higher priced phones. I did the 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) firmware upgrade and it is really running smooth. Love the 4G speed and the vibrant screen color. The size of this phone is a perfect for carrying in pockets without feeling like you're carrying a tablet .Call quality and connectivity is very good also.
Once upgraded to ICS, this phone is like a smaller version of the GS3. Performs very well. The only real negative would be the internal storage. That's easy to work around by getting a memory card. The battery could be better, but really isn't too bad if you use the battery saver mode. I also have Juice Defender, which probably helps. In short, if you want a good smartphone but don't want to break the bank. Get this. I'm glad I did.
First let me say that this is my 1st smartphone, so I cannot compare it with anything else. I finally made the decision to jump to the smartphone bandwagon because I needed to get organized with work and family schedules. I first looked at the Blackberry Torch 9810 because it reminded me of a PDA. I didn't know that the Exhilarate was out until I saw it at the AT&T store. After comparing the features that I really needed (calendar, txt, email) and then all the other "cool" features it had, it blew away the Blackberry. It also helped that it was cheaper than the BB. So far it was pretty easy to learn it with the help of the "how to" tutorial at AT&T. It came preloaded with some apps that I knew I would not use so I deleted them to save the battery power. Really can't comment on how long the battery will last since I've only had it one day, but it has features to help you save the battery life by turning off apps. What I really like is that I can turn off the 4G and connect to my wifi network at home. Most of the web browsing I will do will be at home or other wifi hotspots. So I'll post an update review in about a month to see if this phone was worth the jump.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, simple to learn and operate, sync with gmail calendar
