I have owned many Samsung products in the past but this Stratosphere just misses for me. The wifi connectivity is hit or miss alot of times. The keyboard, in comparison to my wife's phone, is loose and wobbly feeling. The phone's single core processor seems sluggish and sometimes just gets caught in between tasks and locks up. In a direct comparison, my old droid performs faster. Maybe I should have waited for the S III. I will not be keeping this one. Not the worst, but definitely disappointing.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, wifi connectivity issues. sluggish.

Poor Battery Life

The battery is aweful. This phone comes preloaded with app's you can not delete. Seems like doing anything on the phone requires a 3 step process.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, battery life

Add to the common complaints in other reviews about the large number of pre-installed apps that you can't uninstall, and you keep getting prompted to update, the fact that I have had two phones replaced under warranty in the first 7 months and I'm beginning to see signs of similar impending failure (it recently erased my 16 GB sd card while I was loading files to my pc and locked up answering an incoming call and had to be rebooted) at 10 months and I am NOT a happy consumer. Too bad, because I was very happy with my first two Samsung phones and my Samsung television.

Ok for calls... not for web browsing or apps...

have lots of trouble with connections... on the facebook app, 8 out of 10 times does not connect or takes way too long to load photos and or pages on the web. have to constantly reboot the phone for it to get a decent connection.

In less than one year, I have replaced the phone three times. About three months after purchasing the phone, the battery would go dead. I would charge the phone at night and in the morning the phone was dead. The phone was also not allowing me to input data. If I tried to press a number, the phone would go black and shut me out. I took the phone to Verizon and they said it was the battery. Got a new battery. Within a month, the same issue. Verizon said it was the battery and replaced it. The third time it happened I was told I could do a factory reset or get a replacement phone. I got a replacement phone. Within three months the same issues again. Again I got a replacement phone. It has been a month since the new phone and again the issues. I am looking for a different phone.

love it! although it is the first smartphone i have had.. it has been a breeze to adjust to. i am still learning all it is capable of doing but so far it is fantastic no problems yet. if u get fustrated trying to swype use the keyboard! i love to swype
