When comparing the Stratosphere to other phones with a physical keyboard, it probably is the best available. The keys are spaced well and in a useable layout. Performance is average, screen res and brightness is a pro. The UI could be a little more responsive. Lastly, I don't like how the keyboard snaps open, I would prefer it to glide.
Good beginner smart phone Even my 3 year old can use it.

Its a battery hog, to say the least and it keeps dropping the 4g LTE connection. It is my first smart phone and I have to plug it in 3 times a day to get by.
On the plus side I got it so I could take pictures and video to post to facebook with our last baby. It also is easy enough my 3 year old knows how to watch the video of his new baby brother, over and over. He has also taught me how to use allot of things on it. LOL
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to use
Cons: Did not meet expectations, will not stay connected to 4g, battery dies fast when doing 1 minute videos
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phone was great. Needs newer update to fix problem
maybe its just my wife, she can't seem to post to Facebook if not on WIFI. to make sounds says she recieved a text, then can't find it..... all she does is complain, and regrets trading in her blackberry ( which she complained a lot about too)
A great entry level 4G phone. Battery life is not great and wish was able to run ICS.
Performance drops with too many apps.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: Poor quality

This is my first Android smartphone and has been invaluable to me as a way of staying connected to my friends and family. I really liked how I was able to take the stock phone and personalize it to my needs. I needed more memory; popped in a 16 gig card. I needed more battery life; got an extended battery and kept the stock as a spare.
