My First Smart Phone

As this is my first smart phone I can't honestly compare it to any others. What I can say is that I have found no major flaws with this phone.
The issues I have are annoyances more than anything else. I do like the slider keyboard, but it seems a little to big, making the use of it something I have not gotten used to. I'm not real big on the virtual keyboards but I do use them so that I'm ready for the day when the slider is no longer an option. Other than that I think my biggest frustration is battery life, but I knew that would be an issue before I purchased this phone. I do plan on buying the larger battery in the near furture.
My biggest con is that I don't know if it's Ice Cream Sandwhich compatable.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, slider keyboard
Cons: not cream sandwich compatable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone for newbie like me.

I like this phone and it's features. The screen is bright and clear and easy to work with. I've had only two problems with this phone. One, it loses contact with the storage card now and then. Two, and this is a personal preference, it doesn't automatically come out of sleep mode with a call, you have to press the power button and then unlock it. Still it is a great phone for someone like myself, new to smart phones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: location of side buttons

New phone

Switch from a Palm Treo 680, Very old, smart phone to the Stratosphere. Quite a jump and learning curve. The basic things were easy, but getting some of the setting tweeted to do what I wanted took some time. Some menus and step are not very logical. Still trying to get calendar events to pop up.
Love the slide keyboard for long texting and the voice to text is sweet. I'm liking it so far, we see.

Overall it does what it should, but still has minor bugs that hopefully will get fixed shortly.

May not be ICS but I love my DROID. Fast and I really like the keyboard. I switched from a Blackberry to this and really think it does all the BB did and then some !!!

I think it has just the right weight/heft. Not a big fan of ultralights as you have tendency to drop them. Color is fabulous. In WiFi condition, very fast. 4G not bad either.Too many garbage apps preloaded with no means to uninstall. May have to go the "rooting" way to get rid of some of this stuff.
