Weak display Glass

I know you should never drop your phone, but lets face it, phones are handheld devices and people drop things. My phone slipped out of my pocket from a seated position, fell 16 inches to the floor and the AMOLED display cracked. Not the external glass that you touch, but the Display. My phone is now USELESS.
I have only owned it for 2 months. While I was able to use it I loved it. The fact that it broke from such a small drop means it was poorly designed or poorly tested.

have had the phone for 2-1/2 weeks now. Still learning how to operate all features. I did learn to shut of wifi, blue tooth and other functions not in use to help extend battery. I enjoy the easy of getting to e-mails, the little icons that tell me an email has arrived, the live calendar with gmail.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable

This is a great phone. Much better than the Epic 4G. Battery life, speed, connectivity and features are all better than the Epic which I loved. There is only one thing that is not an improvement over the Epic and that is the slide mechanism on the keyboard. Epic easily operates with one hand. Stratosphere requires two. Other than that, this is a fantastic phone. Liked it so much that I bought 2!

Cons: slider mechanism

Excellent phone

I've only had this phone for a few days, but already it's by far the best I've had. I upgraded from a Droid and it's my second Samsung! Outstanding screen quality and my old apps seem even better on this phone! It's inexpensive and performs above expectations.

blazing fast phone, poor battery life

need to turn off all the cool features that use power if you are not going to be able to get to a charger or USB power during the day.
Pros: fastest phone on the market
Cons: very poor battery life
