I now have my second Stratosphere because the first one kept dropping my signal. This one is doing the same thing and when I called my service provider to get help with the problem I was told it was a known problem with the phone and I should just keep taking it back until I got one that held the signal. I didn't know I only had 2 weeks to exchange the phone so now I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't do what I was promised it would do. I want my Samsung Charge back!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

If I lived my life around this phone I would only have a part time life. It rarely works, I don't get messages, don't receive text messages until hours after they are sent, cannot download pictures, I never get phone calls from anyone because I am not in a 4G area so the phone won't work at all. If I would have known this I wouldn't have bought this phone!!!

This was my first phone and I wanted something nice that I could show to all my friends. I didn't want a little basic phone so I decided on this phone. I saw that a bunch of kids and my friends at school had the phone so I was very excited.
I suggest that you get this phone if you know that you are high-tech because it takes a lot of work in the tech department.

Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Too big

Terrible Phone

Battery life is horrible. When charging over night, the phone turns off. No way to disable the lock screen and, worse of all, you have to press a "hidden" button on the side to get to the lock screen. (I say "hidden" because with the bulky phone covers they offer, you can't readily locate the button!) Did I mention the horrible battery life? The retractable keyboard is designed so that the keyboard buttons are so far apart that it is impossible to type without making mistakes - and I bought the phone because it was one of the few that had a keyboard. I have already taken the phone back once during my trial period. They installed a task manager to help with battery life and made other system changes, such as dimming the screen and disabling GPS and some sync functions. Now, I can't see the screen because it's too dark, I have to remember to enable GPS when I need it and who knows if I am receiving real time e-mails (which is the other reason I bought this phone). Definitely returning it this weekend. Good luck to all of you.

Battery life is poor

One thing that made me buy this model was the so called sharp display, yes it is nice but you still cannot see when outside.
The battery life is very, very short even without use it will go down very fast and if you use and search web or anything without stop, you do better plug the charger in after just 2 hours.
Had a bunch of problem initially and had to turn off and on several times in order to use it, I guess they finally got an update for it without bugs.

Product times out and is impossible to answer calls. Locks out lock release page when calls come in. Instruction book that came with phone is worthless.

Deleted email keeps coming back even after it is deleted on phone and computer from the email accounts and trash and deleted mail.

My first smart phone....HATE IT!!!! Wont download pictures sent to me, battery dies within 2-3 hours of BELOW NORMAL use, confusing interface, screen swipe or puzzle thing to "unlock" screen only lasts half a millisecond then goes black again and it is HUGE!, like carrying a calculator. NOT worth the $, time or hassle!!!!!
