The idea of such a phone is very good. However this item has three very big minuses: 1. The display brightness is not adjustable and it is to pale by default, 2. sounds are barely heard from the speaker and there is no option to make it enough louder, 3. the item is too heavy for children.
Pros: Not engaging enough

I bought this phone for my 21 month old son. For the 5 minutes it worked properly he loved it, then it no longer had any sound. we did all the trouble shooting suggestions nothing worked. Very disappointed this is the first time I have every been let down by a Leap Frog product.

This phone stopped working after a month of use. It had no sound whatsoever. I would expect better quality from LeapFrog.

Loved this phone for my 14 month old daughter, when it died and I went to replace the batteries they had corroded. Now the phone won't work at all.
Pros: Educational
I would recommend this to a friend!

I thought my baby was going to like it, but it turned out he doesn't really care for it. I got it for him because he would love to play with our cell phones but it wasn't good enough for him. hopefully he will like it by the time he is 2 years old.
Pros: Educational, Good for on-the-go play, Grows with child
I would recommend this to a friend!
