We replaced our previous Holms Tower Air Purifier...which we still use after 7 years, but put into a child's room. This unit is very quiet on level 1. Not what we are used to. We use ours more for noise at night. I vacuumed the filters after 30 days and they seemed fairly clean but the front foam filter had quite a bit of dust collected. The blue light on top is BRIGHT!!! For us running at night, we need a wash cloth on top folded 3 times to even make a difference. Of course my complaints here have nothing to do with the quality of the unit as it is intended to be used, but for those that need noise to sleep, plan on running this on a level 2 speed and you will be happy! One other issue when sleeping, the unit doesn't always keep an even "hum". The sound can get a slight off beat rhythm and that sucks when you are trying to get to sleep. That has only happened a few times though.

I have a small back room with little air flow and this product eliminates that problem. Running at low speed it makes very little noise and moves air very well. For my purposes the filtering is a plus with the filters acting like diffusers, the output air isn't "swirling" like I would get with just a fan. No idea how often the filters need changing but after a month they are just showing some discoloration. I also like that it is a light weight compact unit. Really nice product

Thank you very much for your positive review! We are glad to hear you are enjoying your air purifier and we recommend you change the filters every 6 to 8 months. However, if you were to upgrade to True-HEPA filters, you would only have to change the filters every 12 to 18 months. You can, easily, purchase these filter through the link below.

This new unit has a simpler switch set-up and runs very quiet. I hope I get as much life out this new unit as I did from the older model.

I have used a Holme's Tower in my bedroom for several years so I bought one for the family room. I usually get sick from allergies that lead to asthma every fall. So far this season I'm symtom free. The Hepa filter products help remove mols spores and dustmites from the air making my life much easier. It's a great investment in my families health.

I have both the tall Tower and the shorter ones. I am VERY pleased with them. If I didn't have them I wouldn't be able to stay in my house and definitely wouldn't be able to sleep without getting a stuffy nose. The unit gives me a breath of fresh air. As soon as I'm financially able I plan to order more.
