Great machine, except for...

Pros: Works great
Cons: Louder than most appliances; using the 'chute' none of my bowls, big or small fit just under it just right, due to angle and length and height of the chute; therefore, shredding something is a mess, goes in the bowl AND on the counter; if I had 3 hands problem would be solved - I would hold a bag under the chute. You need 1 hand to feed the food in the chute, 1 hand on the ready to turn the thing off as quickly as possible.

Mess is going to happen

We purchased 3 months ago.We have used it several times. It is loud, has a powerful 1 speed motor. The lid is the on/off switch. First use we shredded hash browns the chute is to short and body is to round to get any kind of bowl under it. We put it on a cookie sheet to avoid the mess but still had hashbrowns everywhere. It seems to slice ok. Clean up is so-so, the lid has crevices that food builds up in. Need to use something to clean it out. I would not recommend for purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased this little guy for the thin blade. However it was NOT included! But I'm still happy. I use it to blend my homemade cheeses. Perfect size for my one cup plus creaming and blending in spices and other additional goodies.
I would recommend this to a friend!
