Best Heavy Duty Air Circulator!

Best fan ever! My third VORNADO and due to my experience, will never own anything but a VORNADO!!! This one is not to big, not to heavy, and puts out a great cfm. You will be surprised about the amount of air that circulates from the fan! It is very quiet, you won't even know it's on. Unlike a lot of products that have gone down in quality, the VORNADOs keep getting better! It's been 10 years since we bought our last one (reliable, durable, dependable) and they can not be beat!
Pros: Adjustable, Compact, Durable, Good Power Output, Lightweight, Quiet, Stable Base

Lovely to see such great design and workmanships still present in an American product. The fan moves air well and without a lot of noise. Build quality and ruggedness is excellent.
Pros: Attractive, Circulates Air Well, Easy to install, Quiet, Range of Speeds, Works in Both Directions

I been a loyal Vornado fan user for a long time having 4 O.A.Sutton vornado fans this shop fan i have the 283 HD is still kicking after 10 years and use it year round wherever i need it for bedroom air circulating to working on vehicle interior. The 293 bumps it up a notch as the motor is different from the 283. If my 283 were to fail im not sure of sending it for repair as i like that style of motor in it that makes it look like a true Vornado fan like the round motors used in my 4 vintage O.A. Sutton Vornado air circulators i have. But so far so good with both shop fans i got. going to keep them for a very long time. this is also the perfect fan to take with you when you travel on ground going on vacation.

The Vornado 293 does an outstanding job circulating the air in my home in Tucson, AZ. It makes and excellent adjunct to the evaporative (swamp) cooler, which is the only other means of air conditioning for the home. The accelerated air movement helps evaporate the excess moisture produced by the swamp cooler, further cooling the air and keeping the home comfortable during the hot summer months. The 293 model has a stronger motor and better base than other large model Vornado fans I have purchased in the past.

We use this fan for when I DJ in various venue locations. it helps keep our entertainment crew and Myself cool. I just wish it was available in a more stealth carbon black option so it can be used backstage without being an eyesore. Other than that its great. Anybody that walks into my work space area comments immediately on my fan. Bring out the Heavy Duty 293 Black Carbon DJ Keivan addition !!!

Great Heavy Duty Fan for All Uses!

I use three of these heavy duty fans throughout my efficiency apartment. They get the air circulating around the entire apartment with no problem. Stale air and odors are not a problem, plus they cool or warm the space quickly (depending whether or not I've got the heat on or cool air running).
Pros: Adjustable, Compact, Durable, Good Power Output, Good for white noise, Lightweight, Powerful Air Movement, Stable Base

this fan exceeded my expectations I recommend it to anyone who is considering it. Pros: circulates a lot of air. quiet for how much air it moves. it moves a tunnel of air even from very far away. cons: the little rubber feet don't stay in place very well. I don't really like the color. other than that it is perfect
