Extremely disappointed

We purchased the large Vornado Tower Fan not even a year ago, and it just stop working. It won't turn on at all. For the price we bought it for, it should last a lot longer. What a disappointment.
Pros: Adjustable, Good Power Output, Stable Base
Cons: Loud
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Failed in One Week

I initially loved this fan. It was quiet, circulated air very well, and made my bedroom comfortable on warm evenings. Unfortunately, it failed completely in a week. I turned it on, the blades moved slightly and it stopped. Nothing but a him after that. I ended up returning it to the retailer I bought it from. I would have exchanged it, but many other reviewers had a similar experience. Overall, this is the only Vornado product I would avoid. I have two Vornado heaters and a 733 air circulator and they're all wonderful. Far superior to anything else on the market. I will continue to be a loyal customer.
Pros: Attractive, Circulates Air Well, Quiet, Range of Speeds
Cons: Not Durable

Two Model 530 fans stopped working for no apparent reason within one year of purchase.
Pros: Compact, Easy to install, Excellent Air Flow, Great speed settings, Lightweight, Quiet
Cons: Difficult to Clean, Quickly Stops Working

Worked Well...For 3 Months.

Poor Reliabilty, Product has stopped functioning after 3 months. Motor slowed down significantly and now wont even turn the blades.

Disappointed

We were excited for the compact size and good air flow as our daughter moved into a dorm without air conditioning. She is on the top floor, so she needs good air flow. She returned to her room on the third evening and tha vornado will not turn on!! Very disappointed. She tried multiple outlets and nothing worked.

Bring back the older models

I have had many (over 5) Vornado fans and have always been extremely happy with them. My most recent fan has NOT lived up to that experience. It is much noisier and the quality is just not the same. While it does work and is probably competitve with other companies products, it has been a huge disappointment.

Very disappointed in Vornado 533 air circulator

I bought this last summer to use in my bedroom on hot nights in the summer. I live in San Diego so it doesn't get a lot of use. This summer, so one year later, it kept slowing down and then would just stop. I would turn it off for a while and it usually came back on. Today it completely stopped working. I have never had a fan stop working g in such a short time. Most of our fans last several years.
Pros: Lightweight, Quiet
Cons: Unstable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased (4) 530 fans in 2010. 2 of them stopped working within 1 year of purchase; after only part time use. But my 5+ year old Vornado fans are still working. Good design, bad manufacturing. Cheap quality, high price.
