Compact, Capable, and Effectively Reliable!

I have 2-733's in my condo on the floor pointing to the ceiling. In the summer the a/c recirculates floor to ceiling. When the heat is on the fan circulates the floor's cooler air with the warm air at the top of the room (feet stay warmer). My family still has 2 large vornado floor fans from 1954 - THEY STILL ARE STILL WORKING. I carry my other vornado (5 speed) to our condo's workout room where it amazes people by projecting a "column" of air across the room 50-65 ft away. Needless to say I am a staunch Vornado "fan" (no pun intended). Today I ordered a Vornado Flippi 8 personal fan and an iControl Whole Room Heater. In the October 2010 Consumers Reports in the "Forced Fan Convection" Category a Vornado came in #1. And there's no fooling arond with CR's testing and results.

I've had a Vornado for years. I love mine. Nothing beats it for moving air quickly. A few months ago my son called me and wanted my opinion on what he should buy for a fan. He wanted something quiet but would move a lot of air. Even though we own several other brands of fans and love each one for what they do in their selected purpose, I suggested the Vornado. I convinced him he should try one then told him I would get him one as part of his Christmas present. I contacted Vornado and ordered the 733 and had it shipped to my son. When he received it he called me and could not give it enough praise. He said it's the best fan he's ever owned. I knew he'd love it! Vornado comes through again!

I needed a fan to move the heat from a wood stove down the long hallway of my ranch style home. Tried a number of different fans, all were too noisy or too turbulent or both. This fan sits on the floor and sends a column of cold air from the far bedroom down a 50 ft hallway to the stove. It does this on the low setting and is very quiet. There was an issue with the fan grill upon arrival, customer service immediately shipped a replacement. Could not be happier!!

Bought this fan years ago [about 17 yrs] to be used in my basement which needed air circulation and had very high humidity. Used it that summer in my bedroom and when weather became cooler, moved it to the basement. It has been there ever since, though I do turn it off 2-3 times a year to clean the blades and remove any dust that might have accumulated! Have purchased 3 more over the years [for dogs' room, living/computer room & my bedroom. They are quiet, efficient and in my estimation, the very best fan on the market that is reasonably priced and lasts for years!

placed one in the bedroom and another in the living room, now the house is cozy and well aired....very little noise, the animals love them. Out went the ceiling fans, old box fans and such...this technology is superior. I like having air moving in the house

I fell in love the very first time I bought a Vornado. Other fans may look the same but they are not the same. I have several in my home. I also use a small Vornado at night while I sleep. It doesn't feel like a "fan" on my face but rather a soft gentle breeze while I sleep. I also love the ease of cleaning. It is quiet when running! What is not to love?

I bought this fan here on this website along with two smaller fans for my apartment about two years ago. So far they've been a God send this summer. Ever since the temperature hit 85 in Chicago, I haven't turned any of the Vornado fans off. They've kept on working non-stop for over two months. Not only that but on several occasions they've fallen three feet of the window sill hitting the floor while still on!! And they've continued to work with no problems. No cracks or anything which tells me that they're made to last and the quality is superb!! I will most definetly purchase more Vornado products in the future because they're worth every penny. Best of all some are still made in the U.S.

This item is awesome! Nothing else like it! I wish I had another one just like it. These circulators are expensive but well worth it. Mine is 8 years old and still works like yesterday. Only negative side is that the plastic rotating base broke because it isnt the strongest. If you dont have one, get one, you wont regret it!
