Would not even cover over white!!

I primed was re painting my facia boards and after sanding and caulking I wanted to put a fresh coat of white on them ..they were white originally and this paint would not cover you could see right thru them to the old finish..the only way it would cover ..kinda ... Was is I brushed on kilz 2 primer!! Why would that be ?? I picked two gallons from home Depot the cans say PR643 deep base .. I had them shook and I stirred them very well no color was added I just wanted straight white! The only thing I'm thinking is maybe I picked a deep bass where it needed colorant added to it?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the coverage. I can understand your disappointment, and based on the details you shared, it looks like you picked up the deep base, No. PR643. This base needs to be tinted before using it, as it is used for dark colors (will hold the most colorants). The base that you wanted is the white base, PR640. This base can be used right out of the can, or it can be tinted to light colors. I'll reach out to you in a private email to find the best way to help! -Giovanna

As a seasoned painter, I found Behr Pro E 600's watery consistency a challenge. Unlike the robust textures of BM or SW, it required extra layers for full coverage, testing my patience. Ideal for certain tasks, it lacks the durability and richness needed for professional exterior jobs. Behr should enhance its formula for better performance. 🖌️
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Typically the e600 paint has a creamy consistency and will cover in two coats over an already primed surface, while darker colors and porous surfaces may require additional coats.
