Dead trackpad

I bought this laptop hours ago and the trackpad died on me while windows was booting up for the first time.
the trackpad completely died on me for no reason. It is not a driver/software issue. The hardware itself is no longer working.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Series 9 has HDMI video output - 90%+ of the projectors I run into are VGA only. Started with an HDMI->VGA adapted - added a signal booster - could not project to ceiling projectors (long cord from PC to unit). Got a USB->VGA adapter and all's well.
Touchpad is too touchy - shut off most of its capabilities.
Bought it because of weight/form factor. had to add the USB->VGA adapter, external disk (128GB SSD not enough), external DVD drive (tough finding one that would run from a single USB port). By the time I was done with add-ons, bag weigned the same as a bigger unit!
Overall - nice design - wish I had opted for a more "complete" PC. AND, at the moment, I need service - today, touchpad and keyboard don't function unless I use USB keyboard & USB mouse.

This laptop needs a lot more work

The laptop would rate higher with me if it had a price tag of half of its current because,
for the laptop to cost what it does it HAS TO HAVE the following features:
extra usb port/ports
built in optical drive
gigabit Ethernet
longer battery life
256gb ssd
2.3GHz Intel Core i5(sandy bridge )
6gb ram
if this laptop kept its current design and added the features above i would recommended it to everyone,certainly buy it and would certainly give it a 5star rating
for the laptop to cost what it does it HAS TO HAVE the following features:

I am somewhat disappointed with the performance. my five year old toshiba laptop is faster for viewing videos (on websites and youtube) than this machine. other than that, I am very happy with it. I love that it is small and lightweight which is nice for traveling.

Needs more memory.

I think that the laptop would be better with more memory for the hard drive.

it would be great if it was meant to be a netbook. it should be at least a 15.6, with 1080 resolution and blu-ray. should also have a lot of memory, and quality sound. But it doesn't.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, too small, no blu-ray, no premium sound, expensive, no lit keyboard, low memory
