Hate to tell you this, but it just circulates air. It doesn't filter air or vent outside. I just circulates air. A waste of money if you ask me.

Can smell an egg frying from upstairs even with range hood on.doesnt remove odor very well.

Exhaust fan troubles

The vented hood came with the new house we built and from the first day didn't seem to do a whole lot. After looking into it I realized the fan was blowing air downward and not exhausting out like it should. Now that it is fixed it still doesn't pull air out like it should or at least like you think it should.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I realize this is an inexpensive exhaust hood, but geez, I have seen a southern bell create more wind with hand fan. Don't even get me started on the low speed. The pro is that is it quiet, but it should be considering it is doing nothing.

I bought this hood on clearance for my new home. I bought all other appliances to match it. It is extremely quite (barley tell the fan is on) and sleek.
I would recommend this to a friend!
