The oven seems to heat accurately and thoroughly. We haven't used the convection feature yet, but will try it soon. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Amazing control of heat

We did have an LG that was pretty nice ... all the bells and whistles so this one was up against some high expectations. Overall it is a great range. We use the convection roast several times a week. The burners are well thought out and the power burner is terrific. Grates are really heavy iron and look great. In short ... it has the right features and performs better than any range I've owned. BEST in class digital control module - easy to use and completely logical ... we are very pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our kitchen in few months ago and I bought all new Kitchen Aid appliances. Love the, all except for this range. I really love the oven, even though it is noisy during the heating up and maintaining temperature cycles. It seems accurate and baking has been a joy. The stove top however is a very bad design. There are two simmer burners that are practically useless. The front right burner is not even strong enough to cook scrambled eggs unless you ore-heat the pan for quite a long while. It is almost impossible to use a griddle which spans two burners because the power of the burners are so different. I think the stove could have used two power burners and two burners that while still strong were not as powerful as the power burners. The simmer burners are a waste. Also the metal covering of the oven vent is a joke. Cheaply made and it moves around on the stove top.
The vent cover should be secured. At this point i am sorry that I did not spend more on a pro range or should have gotten another Bosch range to replace my older one. The burners on the Bosch were wonderful...except there was also one useless simmer burner. I love my fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. Could not be happier...but the range was a mistake. I should have listened more to the reviews.
