R2000 for Panoramas

Most of my printing is panoramic photos. Not many printers seem to be capable of this feat. I often wonder why they limit it to 44" (Actually you must enter the length as less than 44 or it will not work- something like 43.95 is OK. I had R1800's before and the advantage was I could easily take out and put back in the print head when clogged. I ruined my first R2000 by breaking some plastic pieces when I tried to remove the print head. I get lots of compliments on my panoramas- maybe that is because I give them away. Most people have a hard time believing they are ink jet prints. I wish the instruction booklet had more details. For instance, on the nozzle check what does the square box with the pattern tell you?
I had my last one for about 15 years and loved it. After researching newer printers, I realized this one was still best to meet my needs and at a good price. My only complaint is that because it's an older model, it doesn't have all of the WiFi capacity. It wouldn't recognize my Wifi so I connected with a USB cable. Which, as it turns out, makes it A LOT faster. The color is consistently good and I like the fact that it handles different sizes and types of paper up to 13x19. For the price, can't beat it.
