I have an R1800 printer and thought I would not give it up for anything else ,but this photo 2000 surprized me, I heard comments on the r 2880 also but
I would not change for the 2000 at this point , I would certainly recommend the R2000 to any one A GREAT PRINTER

Easy wireles set-up via USB cable.
Stunning prints. Tried an 13 ins x 19 ins first, absolutely fantastic.
Would definately recommend to others.

Epson Wide 13" Photo Stylus R2000

This is a great printer! The ink use for the task assigned is reasonable. The print quality on the top-end is beautiful. I will continue to recommend and use Epson printers like I have done since 1986.
Highlights: Quiet, Fast on draft, Easy CD Print, Fantastic Photo 13" X 19" Poster size.
CON: Black front background causes hard to see icon operation buttons. Fix with a white border.

I am really satisfied with my R2000. The accuracy of colors is impressive. It also works quite well in B&W. The provided software does a good job.

Large true color photos

This printer produces large true color photos. It is very quiet and contrary to other reviews, the prints come pretty quickly. The only downside is that it uses 8 ink cartridges and some go more rapidly than others. I did print 50 8.5x11's before the first cartridge emptied. When I printed the 13x19's of course the ink depleted at a faster rate.

Solid built printer with quality printing, ease of wireless setup, able to handle many types of media and sizes, and at a reasonable cost. Separate ink cartridges so that individual colors may be replaced as needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
