Still getting used to it, haven't had it long but it is a great printer, so far we like everything about it except it doesn't copy, meaning...there is no scanner. I love how quiet it is when it's printing and the print is very good. We bought it mainly for the CD printing ability which is fantastic! Works beautifully, easily and quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My new R2000

I have used the R2000 for about a week. It seems to do everything that it was advertised to do and even better. I purchased this printer to be able to retire my 2200 Epson which I have used for about 8 years. I did have a problem choosing the media until I downloaded the update driver for the MAC snow leopard which I presently use. As of now everything works very well. I look forward to trying out all of the possibilities as time goes on.The prints that I have made have been terrific. Thanks

Haven't had a chance to print but one photo and it was only a 4x6, good quality. Set up was quicker than I thought it would be and easy. Looking forward to printing on canvas and larger prints. Manual needs to be detailed.

Epson Stylus Photo R2000 Printer

The printer lives up to the reviews. It has excellent real life photo colors and prints any size up to 13". It also has the photo rolled paper giving you even more printing options. It is a very large printer and needs quite a bit of room if you plan on putting it on a desk.

785EXP replacement

This is a replacement for my 13+ year old 785EXP printer which produced fabulous prints. I wanted a larger format printer and chose the R2000. After some test prints I was able to match / exceed the die ink 785EXP printer!
Very satisfied with this printer.
An addition to the quick start doc. should include - press the ink button after installing ink cartridges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

New to Epson

Just received my new Epson, so happy! New to this type of printing and did a lot of research before choosing Epson. (never personally spent so much $ for a printer!) Would be a great idea if they would note in setup instructions to press the ink button on front to start priming the ink delivery system. Waited 30 minutes while the thing just sat there blinking afraid to touch it. Would hate to screw the thing up on the first day, Thankfully the easy answer was on-line. I know I'll be referencing the on-line help many times. Expect that in couple of weeks the fear of breaking it will be gone.
