Good Printer, but sucks up the (expensive) ink!!

Good quality printer with lots of features. The WiFi capabilities really sold me on this unit. It will print great images and lives up to the hype. Don't think about printing color text or anything on standard paper. Even setting all the settings for regular paper result in sloppy, wavy, wet paper that takes a while to dry. Also the ink is completely used up on a minimum of prints!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this printer. The print quality is amazing. The borderless printing, print positioning on the paper- perfect. I have never had a printer with such precise alignment. I love the 8 ink cartridges- I got sick of throwing away ink cartridges because I ran out of cyan.

This printer is great. I love it. Even an idiot like me can print great looking photos. Very simple to run. Took only a couple minutes ti hook up and make a print.

The printer is larger then I thought but works great. I have not tried all the papers I wanted to but I am sure in time I will.
It prints great and is easy to use once you find out all the hidden places and slots. I found a lot of info on the website and on utube.
So far it is working great,

A bit disappointed

I bought the Epson R2000. The output is fantastic but very disappointed as to how slow it is. Even doing documents in black and white, very slow.

I just purchased this printer this afternoon. After getting software installed I have done a black and white image and 3 high quality photo prints. With nothing else to go on it is very impressive print quality for my first prints. I am excited about owning this printer. Can't wait to print large format and panarama prints. The clarity and detail is outstanding, so impressed.

Epson r2000

I received my r2000 this morning. I had researched a lot of different printers and models and in the end wanted one that used pigment ink for display purposes that would not fade.
I was worried about the complexity of getting the printer installed and running. It wound up being very easy and I was up and running very quickly. I am using lightroom 5.3 for formatting to print. I ran some trial prints to see the end product and was very pleased at the colors and clarity of the prints. The written instructions were easy to follow using a usb cable connection to my computer.
The printer was packaged great with of course tons of tape to keep things in tack.
One image was of the rare Pygmy Killer Whales I shot last month in Hawaii and the blues of the ocean and sky was amazing.
The printer is very quiet, more so than my HP document printer.
