R2000 THE BEST !!

This creates the most BEAUTIFUL photos ... things come to life and POP off the paper . Also, uses far LESS INK than the 730 printer I have. There's no comparison in the quality of the photos ! FABULOUS!!

r2000 runs with the big dogs

This is my third Epson printer, the most expensive. and biggest that I've owned and worth every penny. I had a 1280 that lasted 8 years, still working when I gave it to a friend. I used to email files to my local photo finisher if I wanted to print a present for someone and have the highest quality. I don't have to do that now. The results that come out of the R2000 are perfect. The colors are vivid and the ink color patterns are smoothed out. (other printers you can look at a print from the side and see the patterns of the different colored inks)
I had an 8x10 photo of my cat, Rita on the kitchen counter and dumped a whole glass of Perrrier on it. I blotted the photo with a soft cloth and you can't tell anything happened to it. The inks are wonderful.
You can spend more money on a printer but the R2000 runs with the big boys!
I take dog and cat photos for a local shelter and nature/people shots other times with great results.
Though I have sold some photos and had shows, I call myself a highly skilled amateur.

R2000

I bought this printer to replace my ailing R1900. I was very satisfied with the R1900 so I decided on the R2000, hoping it would be at least as good. After installing it and inputing all my settings (paper types, color management info, etc.), it was time for a test print. I have a scenic with a variety of colors and some difficult contrasts to get correct. So, starting with all color adjustment compensations set at "zero" (default), I let 'er rip. To my surprise, the print came out perfect. I mean PERFECTLY matched to my calibrated NEC 27" monitor! No further adjustments needed. Better than the old R1900
ever did, and it was pretty good itself. I am very satisfied with this printer.....and am hoping it lasts a long time.

I had a R280 and wanted bigger and better prints that looked beautiful. The R2000 did just that. I just love the prints that come off from this printer.

Outstanding Epson Photo R2000 Printer

I have owned five Epson printers--currently have four. I decided to upgrade to a pure photo printer and decided on the R2000. I am 100% satisfied in my decision. The R2000 produces beautiful photographs and far exceeds my expectations in quality. I love that I can print in larger sizes and can use roll paper. I love Epson paper, ink, and printers and would never choose any other printer. I will only use the R2000 for photographic work and will keep my Stylus RX680 connected for other printing needs as it is still a great printer.

The printer is right on. Excellent color, precisely good rendition of what's on your computer screen. No problem to have it function wirelessly. It really gives you what you want!

After being impressed with the output from the R2000 and wanting a wide-format printer for some time, I now have it and look forward to creating art photography. I know the R2000 will do everything my previous printer--Epson R300--did, only better and bigger! Thanks. Epson!

Excellent Value and Performance

This unit is a great balance between cost and performance for those looking to do more advanced "hobby" work. Large format photos come out clean and with the clarity that I have experienced in other Epson units taken to the next level!
