Awesome printer! Took a lil to set up wifi, but worked greatly. Only downside is it eats up ink (mainly just the gloss optimizer for pics) and refills are expensive

Very satisfied with the printer. However, it took many adjustment settings to print using photoshop. I had to talk to an Epson tech and then through trial and error figure out why the photos were not printing as they appeared on my screen. They were dark. I ha to change the contract and brightness in the print settings. I'm still not settled on this issure.

I got this to replace a very old 2880. So far I love how easy it is to set up and use. We print on both regular photo paper and linen/fine art paper and I love that I don't have to change inks. I also love the snap in the photographic prints.

When my old Epson wide format wore out I went out and got the R2000. I needed to print a wedding picture for delivery that day. The printer worked perfectly right out of the box, no adjustments required. The print looked exactly like the image on my monitor.

Doesn't like envelopes

This is the seventh Epson printer we've owned. We literally wear them out. We bought the 2000 to replace a 1900. Everything about it is great except for printing envelopes. There is no setting for them like there was on the 1900, you have to go into user defined and put in the specific measurements of your envelope. Okay, we did that. Then the envelopes print out with smudges and wheel marks, not clean like they used to. We printed out 100 of them hoping there was a little ink on a wheel or something. No luck, they all looked pretty beat up. I guess this is due to the thickness of the envelope. This is a big disappointment as we print lots of letterhead and envelopes along with our photos. I guess I could front load them ONE AT A TIME but that would stink when I want to print hundreds of envelopes. We spend a lot of money on printers because I do a lot of photography and my husband's business prints his own materials. I think Epson really dropped the ball on this one. Will think twice on next printer.

Lack of Installation Information for MAC

Although the printer is well built from the looks of it, installing the software drivers for the Mac was not straight forward. The directions say to us "Apple Software Update" after plugging in the printer. This does not work

Epson R2000

Very good printer, but not any better than my R1800 that it replaced. But that being said , my R1800 was good , and so is the R2000. Now if only Epson could figure out how to stop the heads from clogging, they will have a winner.
