New Epson R2000

Not the best installation instructions. I had problems when I used more than one sheet of photo paper. Picture quality is splendid however.

The R2000

I purchased the R2000 because my R1900 finally died...I would have easily gone for another R1900 - it was a decent printer. I finally decided on the R2000 because it had the same inkset/colors as the R1900 - I didn't like the idea of re-profiling everything! Also the wireless mode was very attractive.
When I set the printer up I did notice some very minor omissions from the quick setup instructions, but set-up went mostly well - except for the wireless set-up...they need to be "Much Clearer" on setting up for WiFi than they are in the instructions!
WiFi was for nothing though - the printer would stop in the middle of a print and after a long wait, would finally kick the sheet out unfinished...it was losing it's signal from my router...when it didn't lose the signal it was extremely slow 4-500% longer printing times than with USB.
So I gave up on the wireless and plugged it in and am using it just as I did the R1900...prints fine - no surprises there. Its brand new so that's all I can say about it at this point.

Not disappointed

Being using Epson Printers 15 plus years and have not been disappointed yet. The Epson Stylus Color R2000 is everything I wanted in a low cost large format printer. Graphics are crisp and color is vivid.
I would recommend it.

Just as good if not a little better than my R1900. More features, holds more ink, and WiFi. Just what the Doctor ordered.

Excellent Pictures

My primary purpose for purchasing the Epson R2000 is for printing pictures. I have used it for plain paper printing,but the primary purpose is for the outstanding job it does with the pictures I print.
The color is outstanding and the paper is extraordinary. I wish I had been exposed to the Epson Stylus Photo R2000 earlier. Now I don't use anything else for pictures on great quality paper. Thank you, Epson.
