works great as a wifi printer or as a usb printer. I have used this printer to print photos from 4x6 all the way up to 13x19. It does a great job giving awesome colors and sharpness. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a photo printer to be proud of. I have used it to print 8x10 photos for two cars shows with wonderful results.

The Epson Stylus Photo R2000 does a great job, best quality & price. This is the second one I have purchased. The first one, Epson Photo Stylus 2000 was used daily for 5 years. We never had any problems....definitely got our money's worth :). I can't say enough about the quality, price, and dependability. Would recommend to anyone.

I was very nervous to purchase this printer. I have had poor experiences with cheaper epson's in the past. The reviews on this one were mixed but so far it has been a DREAM! I use it to print archive quality art prints of my illustrations. the Ink usage is good as well. I get about 100 8" x 10" prints out of a pack of ink.

Purchased this 2 years ago. It has not been used for the last year. Performed a nozzle check and clean per maintenance instructions and it is working perfectly. I bought this to use with my Silhouette Cameo for large invitations and custom party favors, etc. I couldn't be more pleased with it.

In short I love my R2000. I will go to Epson with all of my printer needs. I will buy a wider format from Epson when I can afford their price.
FYI Epson Managers, this is the third or forth time I have registered my product. I check "my printers" and neither one shows up. I also have a WF3540. This chore of registering several times is bothersome.

My husband is a professional photographer but I do all the computer work on the pictures E.G.: special visual effect, airbrushing, cleaning, creative color effects, and so much more… This is the best printer we have had!! I recommend it highly to those who treasure quality. Reasonably priced for the great printing experience this stylus R2000 provides.

Excellent printer for photos and printing on standard size media. Not very good for small sized media, labels, envelopes, etc. Probably should have chosen another model, but I have been a happy user of two large format Epson printers for over a decade -- and figured this one would be just as good. Bottom line: Product description should include what machines won't do -- as well as what they will do.

8/1/2013 UPDATE:on different papers and ink usage LUSTER - produces beautiful prints, love this paper. Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte - also produces beautiful matte photos Fine Art Watercolor - The texture I create on the computer really shows on this paper and looks like it was actually painted. Fine Art Velvet smooth - Beautiful prints DASS Transfer film - this is the best transfer film around and works beautifully in the R2000 with no “white lead” needed. Basically every kind of paper I’ve used in the R2000 comes out gorgeous. ROLLED PAPER -I purchased the 8.3” x 32.8’ premium luster roll paper and it was fairly easy to use and produces beautiful prints, great for panoramas. FYI - this printer doesn't cut the roll paper for you though. You must hit the "roll" button and it moves the paper forward until you can see a dotted line where you should cut the paper. You'll then need to do another cut to make your print even, then take out the roll and cut that end to make it even before you can use it again. That's the only thing I can complain about on this printer. I think any machine that takes rolled paper should have an automatic cutter on it. INK USAGE- In the past with other printers I always dreaded running out of ink and sometimes didn’t print my work because I new I was running low and would have to purchase more expensive ink cartridges that wouldn’t last long enough, but now I don’t worry about ink, not only are the cartridges reasonably priced, I don’t have to change them every time I turn around. With my R2000 in the last 14 months, I've only changed "all" the cartridges 2 or 3 times. I seem to use a lot of CYAN in my prints though so I've changed that cartridge probably an additional 2-3 times by itself. Considering how much printing I’ve done over the past 14 months I think that’s excellent. I’m always printing these days and it’s wonderful. To sum up: Well a year makes a lot of difference sometimes, but not with this printer. I'm not only still happy with my R2000, but am still singing it's praises to whom ever will listen. I still highly recommend this printer to anyone who wants beautifully stunning prints at 13“ wide or smaller. My next printer purchase will also be an EPSON.
