I looked at many reviews for this printer and didn't find anything negative anywhere. It does a great job on the pictures that I need printed. I think it is better than anything I have gotten from photo labs. It is a large device so you have to make room for it. Set up was very easy and although it prints a bit slower than I was expecting the quality does make for it.

Epson Stylus Pro R2000 - A+

This is my 4th or 5th Epson and all have been good...this one is excellent so far. This replaced my well worn 1400 and I have to say that while happy with the 1400...this is a step up. More vibrant and faster. Excellent Printer!

Easy Wireless Setup, High Quality Prints
on November 6, 2012

This printer is easy to setup and use right out of the box. The setup software on the CD is an intuitive walk-through...practically sets the network up for you. Borrow a USB cable, as you will only have to use it for about two minutes.
The ink cartridges are easy to install. However, in the set-up guide included it does not tell you to press the ink button after closing all the doors. Fortunately it shows you in the icon-based instructions inside the printer, and once you do press the ink button, the printer primes itself in just a few minutes.
Print quality is excellent for photos and art. I honestly can't tell the difference between this and higher-end printers. Perfect for my small business, printing my own calligraphy and illustrations on cards and medium-sized prints, as well as making small prints for local photographers and artists. It prints fast, too. I really don't think you can go wrong with this wide-format printer for high-quality prints.

Very satisfied, wireless setup was a snap and print quality is really good. Just hope the consumables don't break the bank.

As soon as I figured out all the basic settings to use this printer worked beautifully. No need for expensive calibration equipment. One just needs to know all the correct settings to use, and this printer works like a dream.

Decent quality, too slow for any quantity

I use this machine daily to print large 2-up sheets. While the quality varies (two consecutive pages can be very different in color) its generally acceptable for in-house work. Large prints take forever, and while i like the ink tank setup- we seem to go through a ton of cartridges. We are moving to a color laser to improve client proof quality and get a better handle on costs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
