Simply fabulous

My R2000 Photo Inkjet Printer has replaced a well served R300 Photo Inkjet Printer. Keeping in mind that several generations of printers have evolved from Epson, I had high expectations from my R2000. The installation was so simple, that I kept thinking I had forgotten something in the process. My first print was spectacular, and the color was spot on with my monitor. This is a prime example of the Epson quality that I am familiar with.

WOW!! was one of my first words after it only took 5mins to set up and to see the high quality of my first 8x10 photo.I will use this printer for all of my photos...

Very easy to set up & run wireless. I found that it takes a lot of patience to get it running properly, but if you stick at it , it produces stunning pictures. I have printed on canvas & photo paper & was very pleased with the results. It is very sensitive to paper type & how its loaded, but once that is sorted its awesome. I am looking forward to using it to its full capacity.

It prints with ease and is simple, just follow the instructions. I am still learning about this fantastic printer. I have found it easier to print photos on the excat size paper you want it and choose borderless. I have not used any roll media. Printing on a disk is so simple, it's almost fun. This printer must have canvas on the roll and velvet in sheets. Only complaint is that the property box to print could be easier to understand. I keep the manual close at hand and use it often until I get used to printing in the different formats and on different media. This is like my dream printer and I love it!

Great Printer

I just bought the R2000 last week to update my R1900, which I had really liked and enjoyed for almost 3 years. So far, I have printed a few colour and b&w photos and been very impressed. I have a colour corrected display and output was extremely close to what I saw on the screen. Even black and white prints looked better than I expected as this printer is not optimized for that. Adding a slight tint in Photoshop seems to be the answer to avoiding colour casts, and, of course, using the right paper and settings. The machine is very quiet and I am very happy with it. The only quibble I would have is the single sheet feeder. I don't really see the point of it, as most papers fit the regular feeder and thick media can go in the front-loading slot. Other than that minor thing, seems like a winner.

I love my printer! I was so happy when I printed my first photo on it and it came out just vibrant and beautiful! It printed quickly and didn't shake my desk at all! You would never know that anything was printing!
