the rower works like you would expect it too. I put it together myself. However 2 people should assemble it! The chain initially would skip slightly once in a great while. However it has not done that for sometime.

I love this rower, I looked at the concept2 however for the price this rower has it and what I like is it is sturdy. I am 6' 240lbs and this works. My heart rate gets going and the fan keeps you cool. This rower has a nice profile and store easily...meets all my standards for my home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doctor told me to lose weight and get more exercise, and the Air Rower is helping me do just that. The Air Rower was very easy to assemble, and it provides a good workout for my arms, legs, back, and core.

After reading reviews I opted to purchase this as my first rowing machine. I found it very easy to put together, I did it myself.
Sturdy machine- the chain does seem to ease up or slip a little.

i having been waiting for a rowing machine i was able to afford and this one is it. using it makes me excited i really feel my core getting a great workout. the seat gives me problems is a bit uncomfortable i use a pad for comfort.

Unable to repair

The chain jumped off the track. We were able to get it back on but there is no tension now. Searched the internet for ways to repair this, but haven't found anything. So, now it's just taking up floor space in my exercise room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this 1405 Air rower 4 months ago and love this unit. I must note when moving or transporting the unit. I would zip tie the chain to a fixed point on rower. If chain comes off from handle full dis-assembly of the tension system is required, but very fixable. Had some issues with foot platform moving put a simple fix with a 3" stainless steel strap does wonders.Note you can remove both travel stop bumpers for more range of motion great for taller users 6'3+. Using a teflon lubricant on the rollers and pulleys makes the unit smooth to operate. For the value and benefit this rower is great.

Disappointed with the product after the first bolt fell out after a week of use and I couldn't get it re-inserted. I contacted customer service, and the rep was polite and helpful, saying they would send a replacement bar. A couple of days after the replacement arrived, and before I could exchange out the piece, another bolt fell out, so I ended up returning everything -- the replacement piece to Stamina and the full machine to the vendor where I purchased. The machine got at most three brief workouts a day -- 3-5 minutes each.
