This projector, the Epson Projector EX5230, is perfect for teaching combat medical care classes. It has an excellent graphics, color, and quality. The sound could be a little more stable and strong. But overall it's a great projector. Its helping teach a lot of military medical personal safe the lives of our fighting men and women.
Thank You!

Bright and clear

Very pleased with my purchase. We have a lot of windows in our sanctuary. So we needed a projector with high lumens. The EPSON EX5230 has 3500 lumens. So when the sun comes through the windows our picture is crisp and clear. We are in middle of mounting both our new projectors from the ceiling but we have been using one sitting on our old piano in the meantime. I can't imagine what it will look like when we can enlarge the picture and have it mounted properly.

Reliable and functional

The projector has met our needs as a business presentation projector. It's a bit noisier than expected but not that bad. Noise is noticeable when nothing else is going on. Once the speaking part of presentation begins the projector noise is not noticeable. The only annoyances were the WiFi module sold separately and information provided about how far to install screen from projector. While the Epson website provides considerable information it doesn't clarify what is allowable within range of the remote control magnification feature. In an attempt to find a suitable place on the ceiling that wasn't in the way of HVAC vents we moved the projector ceiling mount three times. After turning on projector we discovered that the remote control magnification would have accommodated any of the mount locations. We discovered the WiFi module that can be purchased separately was too slow for video. A direct link over a 30Ft cable solved that problem. Overall, aside from the WiFi module, a product we would buy again and recommend to others.
