Does the trick

A good product. Well designed. Well packaged. Easy to install. Expensive for what you get (the trim kit cost significantly more than the microwave it covers...), but if you don't want a big gaping hole over your oven then this is what you need!

For the most part the installation of my trim kit went well. However the opening in my cabinet was approx 1/8 inch off. The height was approx. 1/8 inch too short.
So the trim kit wouldn’t quite fit the bracket. I removed the rubber graumet from the lower bracket and the trim kit snapped right into place. Fit perfect and is very secure. Problem solved.
If I was too design this product I would put screw holes in the four corners of the trim kit frame so that you could just screw it into the cabinet frame.
