Love this blender!

I bought this blender and, I have to say, it may very well be one of the best purchases I've ever made. Worth every penny. I make smoothies on a day basis and am down 30 pounds. I had a Nutribullet before I got this, and it was so hard to clean and broke within two years. This blender is a tank. It's easy to clean and WORKS!

I received this item about 3 days ago. My daughter and I have been using it non-stop!!! It's everything I hoped it would be and more!! The pre-programmed buttons make it so easy to use. Clean-up is a breeze! I love that I can use so many different healthy raw foods to make great tasting meals. Not only have we used several of the Vitamix recipes, but we have also started creating our own! I'm having fun and eating better! Thank you Vitamix.

This is my 3rd Vita-mix. I had one of the original ones that were stainless steel which I had for over 30 years. I upgraded to the the 5200 and had that for almost 10 years. I just bought the 6300 and gave my boyfriend the 5200, because he just likes to make smoothies. I like the preprogrammed settings in particular, because it makes ice cream and soups so much quicker. As a result of making my own soups and ice creams using coconut milk and water and other natural ingredients my cholesterol went down from 255 to 222 and I went from diabetic to prediabetic status. I hope in the next 90 days I will be totally off medication.

I purchased this from months of research and looking for something that would blend cold, frozen products without me needing to defrost the ingredients first. I must comment on how amazed I am with the power of this blender. I rarely have to waste any left over product which is a plus since veggies and fruits are a lil on the expensive side. I also love that the site have recipe that my family and I are very much enjoying. This is by far the the best blender on the market!!!!

Odor!

Just have to comment. Seen a lot of posts on odors. The pitcher/lid does retain odors from garlic and onion. I tried to get it out from regular washing, soaking in lemon juice, vinegar and even salt. The odor is faint but still lingers around. If you are hard on your pitcher and mill powdered sugars or other things that will etch your pitcher it will be harder. I suggest buy a separate pitcher for these tasks. Other than that, the machine is great. Still giving 5 stars because its not this models fault but all the pitchers/lids.

I have an older Vitamix which I took to our second home; I bought this new Series 500 because it has the different settings: smoothies, soup, and one other. I love it. I can start the smoothie to blend and leave it to complete and shut-off. It crushes the ice and all ingredients well. Thank you for making such wonderful blenders!

I am new to vitamix and blending as a meal replacement. I purchased one to help with losing weight and promote a healthier life style. I checked out several reviews on vitamix and other machines. I found the smear test the most helpful.
I chose the vitamix and I am very pleased that I did. This is a great machine, what it is capable of doing astonishes me. I mostly use the vitamix for breakfast smoothies. I love the smoothie setting, simple and easy, the consistency is always perfect.
A pet peave of mine is cleanup but vitamix is so simple, some water, a little soap and your done.
I like to change things up every week with a new smoothie. The Web site is great for this, I set up an account and save the recipesi like.
