good cooktop, but labels wore out less than a year

this was easy to install and use, but the numbers/labels wore out in less than one year.

Big disappointment

After just 6 months the knob indicators (paint) on the stainless steel panel has completely disintegrated so we have no idea where high-low-2-3-4-on-off is located!
We have called GE customer service and are awaiting their service visit next week to try to resolve the problem.

I Wish I Had Bought this Years Ago

Our GE electric stovetop was 27 years old and no longer reliable. Our PC Richard salesman recommended this stovetop as a replacement and we are thrilled with it! It heats the food/liquids so quickly and evenly. Cooks beautifully. Easy to clean. And it's gorgeous. Really dresses up my kitchen.

We bought this cooktop because of the burner layout and, to be honest, because it fit in the layout. Also, I love the burner lock
